I recently retired from the Sheriff’s Office in January 2009 with the rank of
Lieutenant after 21 years. I am running for Sheriff because I still have a
passion for fairness, justice, and change. In addition, I still have a desire to
help people.
I am seeking to remain a servant of the oppressed and the fatherless as well as
the elderly and the widows. I would ensure that every citizen of Will County
receives a fair law enforcement response with dignity, decency, and equality
that they have a right to expect.
Also, I would move forward with all perseverance and earnest desire to ensure
to the best of my ability that everyone has the oppurtunity to enjoy all of the
wonderful amenities that this Great County has to offer and to sleep in peace
and safety.

I have supervised and worked cases from simple misdemeanors to quadruple
homicides to death penalty successfully. To this end, it is my hope that I will
be allowed to take my knowledge and experience and continue to be a servant
of the people, so help me God.
